JCM 2017 Geotrip

Eastern Indonesia is known for its exoticism of nature and geology. In conjunction with The HAGI – IAGI – IAFMI - IATMI JCM 2017, our professional native Geofriend guides will bring you to explore a very brand new-breathtaking experience here with GEOTRIP LABUAN BAJO – WAEREBO – KOMODO. Labuan Bajo is once a small fishing village, but now a busy bustling center of tourism. Several social events will be conducted there along with GEOTRIP’s “Responsible Traveler” campaign. Wae Rebo is an old Manggaraian village, situated in pleasant, isolated mountain scenery. The village offers visitors a unique opportunity to see authentic Manggarai housing and to experience the everyday life of the local community. Komodo Island is particularly notable as the habitat of the Komodo dragon, the largest lizard on Earth, which is named after the island. Komodo is part of the Lesser Sunda chain of islands and forms part of the Komodo National Park.
This Geotrip combines the curiosity of Eastern Indonesia geology, excitement of trekking to some of the most remote areas and villages in the world, along with a face-to-face encounter with the legendary Komodo Dragon, also the exotic beaches which runs along the Eastern coast of Indonesia (coral beach, pink beach, smooth sands, pure water, tropical animal and plants), with the sustainable social campaign from all participants to local people. Many Geotravelers hope to enjoy this wonderful trip. All of the combinations inside will make this unforgettable GEOTRIP LABUAN BAJO – WAEREBO – KOMODO experience will always be remembered. Only a few seats left for you, pack your belongings now and immediately sit down..!!
